# Pethereum Crystals

The Pethereum Crystals earned through games in the Pethereum metaverse are developed on the Polygon infrastructure. These Crystals are not used in market trading as determined within the scope of the smart contract. They are designed for in-game use only.

Players have two different ways to get Pethereum Crystals. Players can either earn Pethereum Crystals by playing various games in the Pethereum metaverse or by using the in-app purchases offered in the game app. You can find detailed information about in-app purchases in the [Purchase Items](/gameplay/purchase-items.md) section.
